SQL*Wizard Team
“Turn the C.I.O.” or “Turn the Crisis Into
an Opportunity” is SQL*Wizard’s guiding principle for 2009, a
year that’s laden with global stress brought about by the
recession.
“There are two ways of looking at a glass.
It could be half empty or half full. We choose to look at the
world’s economic crisis as a time where great opportunities
arise.” This was SQL*Wizard’s Chief Evangilist’s, Dinah
Salonga, words to her staff during the company’s annual kick-off
held at Milkyway Restaurant, Makati City recently.

Oracle Asia-Pacific Nominates SQL*Wizard for a
Regional Recognition
by
Dee Tumlos
SQL*Wizard was one of only 2 nominees to the
Reseller (Technology) Partner of the Year Award for
Asia-Pacific. This was announced during the Gala Dinner and
Awards Ceremony of the Asia-Pacific Executive Partner Forum held
last September in
Sydney, Australia.
The mere fact that there were only 2 qualifiers
means that SQL*Wizard’s revenue contribution and performance as
an Oracle partner were significant enough to merit the attention
of the Oracle regional executives.
In some categories, there were 4 or 5 nominees
and the vast network of partners in AP included companies like
HP, IBM, Dell and Accenture. SQL*Wizard was up against the
giants in the region and yet, made it to the top 2 in the
mentioned category.
Last year, SQL*Wizard was also nominated for
the same award.
