Wizards Turn the C.I.O.

“Turn the C.I.O.” or “Turn the Crisis Into an Opportunity” is SQL*Wizard’s guiding principle for 2009, a year that’s laden with global stress brought about by the recession.

 “There are two ways of looking  at a glass. It could be half empty or half full.  We choose to look at the world’s economic crisis as a time where great opportunities arise.”  This was SQL*Wizard’s  Chief Evangilist’s, Dinah Salonga, words to her staff during the company’s annual kick-off held at Milkyway Restaurant, Makati City recently.

 After a review of the company’s performance last year, plans and strategies were presented by SQL*Wizard’s Technology Services Manager Dina Gomez and SQL*Wizard’s Sales Manager, Lui Tolentino.  Author and lifestyle coach Mr. Chinkee Tan also gave the staff an inspiring presentation on how to face the challenges of  2009.

 The annual kick-off is also the time when outstanding employees are cited.  The roster of awardees for this year are:  Jerlyn Naval, Sales Wizard of the Year Awardee; Therese Tadeo and Tammy Ballesteros, Technical Wizards of the Year Awardees; and Thina Magora, Overall Wizard of the Year Awardee.
