Keeping your database system healthy at all times is as crucial as maintaining the profitability of your business. While you focus on your core competency, we focus on your databases; after all, this is what we do.

We’re getting better and better as we address the changing and unique requirements of companies needing outsourced professional DBA help. We have innovated a service offering that is cost-centric, transforming this inevitable support system into one of your business commodity.

DBA Lite is a prepaid DBA service credit that you may utilize at your own discretion for DBA services. Day or night. Because you never know when your system will bog down or any of those horrific moments will happen, it is very convenient to be able to call a professional for help like you were just tapping any of your very own staff.

What makes this offering interesting is that this is an adaptation of the “pre-paid” concept. Once in agreement, you enjoy premium mileage from your investment and when you call us for support, service credits are deducted. And it doesn’t end there. We apply our proven methodologies in handling, documenting and reporting such incidents to you.

DBA Lite is rendered by SQL*Wizard’s talent pool of Oracle Certified DBAs with extensive experience in database architecture, design, tuning as well as application development. They have been involved in the development, maintenance and implementation of various database systems in industries ranging from energy, transportation, telecommunications, insurance, food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, education, and retail.

Service Offering  - DBA services we render include, among others, data installation, migration and updates, disaster planning and recovery, performance tuning, and Oracle product consulting.

Service Credits -  DBA Lite is equivalent to twenty-four DBA service credits and a guarantee of DBA resource availability. Each service credit is equivalent to a maximum of two man-hours work. Any DBA work for two man-hours or less rendered during weekdays is charged as one service credit. DBA Work for two man-hours or less rendered during weekends and holidays is charged as one and a half service credits. If work performed exceeds the available service credits, you can always purchase a new package or negotiate for a separate agreement. You have the power to manage your service credits as you deem fit.

Response Time - The client, where possible, should schedule requests for DBA assistance at least forty-eight hours prior to actual schedule of service delivery. In case of an emergency, we will send a consultant to the client site within four hours.

Service Record - In every engagement, a Professional Services Record (PSR) is accomplished. It enlist, in detail, the work rendered and is submitted to the client for approval. This ensures the client that work is properly done and that the issues are resolved.

"We need to be sensitive in the cost of doing business. Part of it is how much to maintain our business, and this includes data base management. We need to deliver our part of the business process in a very cost efficient way. I have this fix budget but I want more mileage out of it. So I asked SQL*Wizard to come up with a win-win situation. I pre-pay you something, you commit to me a level of service and then as I call you on time and material basis, so to speak, you subtract this from the service credits. I am glad to know that I’m getting the right level of service because to begin with, the people who are providing the service are very good; they have a very deep knowledge of what we need. They are very reliable. You combine that with a good payment scheme, that is DBA Lite, what else do you need something for, right?"
